Strategy for Access Foundation NFP

Joining our Board or Advisory Council is a commitment to driving positive change and making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve. We welcome individuals who share our passion and dedication to join us on this journey.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic and Organizational Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans to guide our organization’s growth and effectiveness.
  • Fiduciary Oversight and Financial Management: Ensure robust financial stewardship, overseeing budgets, investments, and financial policies to safeguard our resources.
  • Fundraising and Resource Development: Engage in fundraising efforts and cultivate partnerships to secure the financial resources vital for our mission’s success.
  • Program and Service Innovation: Collaborate on brainstorming initiatives to innovate and expand our programs and services, addressing the needs of our community effectively.
  • Enhancing Public Image: Work to elevate Strategy for Access’s public profile and reputation, promoting our mission and impact.

Expectations:

  • Comprehensive Understanding: Familiarize yourself with our organization’s mission, policies, programs, and requirements to effectively advocate for and represent us.
  • Active Advocacy: Serve as passionate advocates and ambassadors, actively identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships crucial for our advancement.
  • Network Leverage: Utilize your connections, networks, and resources to mobilize collective action towards fulfilling our mission.
  • Strategic Connections: Identify personal connections that are beneficial for fundraising, reputation enhancement, and influencing public policy in support of our cause.
  • Committee Engagement: Participate actively in one or more committees, contributing your expertise and insights to specific focus areas.
  • Adherence to Governance: Follow our organization’s bylaws, policies, and board resolutions to ensure effective governance.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality regarding all internal matters of Strategy for Access, respecting the privacy and integrity of our operations.
