In these three short films, friendships are tested at the barrier between able and disabled.
“Sounds for Mazin” (19min) is about a deaf boy who faces an operation that is supposed to make him hear. But for a close friend, a similar operation turned out to be a disaster.
“Marina’s Ocean” (16min), a girl with Down Syndrome has a strong wish to visit the sea for the first time.
“I Don’t Want to Go Back Alone” (17min) tells the story of a blind teenager and his best friend, facing issues of jealousy and other new feelings when they befriend a new kid in their class.
